Dance Culture Pty Ltd ("Dance Culture", "we", "us") operates Latin dance studios in Brisbane, Australia and the website danceculture.com.au. We collect only the personal information we need to run our classes and community, and we look after it carefully. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
Enquiries. When you email us we receive your email address, name and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply and to help you with your enquiry.
Enrolments and payments. Course enrolments, class credits, memberships and payments are handled through our enrolment and student management platforms. Those platforms collect your name, contact details and payment information under their own security arrangements; we do not store your card details on this website.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people find and use our site and to measure our advertising. These tools use cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, links clicked, device type and approximate location. They do not give us your name.
Photos and video. We sometimes photograph and film classes, parties and events to share the joy of dancing on our website and social media. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us at reception or email us and we will do our best to accommodate you, including removing an image you appear in on request.
How we use your information
To run classes and events, process enrolments and payments, respond to enquiries, keep you informed about courses you have joined, improve our website, and promote Dance Culture. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make Dance Culture work: our enrolment and student management platforms, our email provider, our website host, and the analytics and advertising services named above. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job.
Cookies and your choices
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and in your Facebook ad preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on.
Access, corrections and questions
You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email reception@danceculture.com.au and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
